To date, he has produced many manga pieces, including ” New Engineering”, “Travel”, “NIWA” and “Baby Boom”, which has gained high acclaimed both in and out of Japan. His work brings fresh surprises and excitement to the viewer.Īfter studying oil painting in Japan, YUICHI YOKOYAM began to draw manga as a medium that best suited his form of expression. Hyperstylized designs for characters, architecture and landscapes, everything and everyone is abstracted and some sequences are almost pure pattern.
